Academy Classroom Update

How do I describe my new classroom in the Freshman Academy @ MHS? Well, in one word, it is...

HOT.

When I walk into the classroom, my hair immediately frizzes out from the humidity, and, within minutes, I've got sweat trickling down out of mentionable places. Hot heat, Texas hot, Carolina humid.

When the climate of the classroom gets adjusted, I believe I will enjoy teaching in this room. I love the tile floors, and the Titan blue wall makes me happy. I am happy pondering the teaching materials I will put on my walls and plotting how to hang my TARDIS on the wall to best set the theme of my class. I want my students to feel safe, wanted, valuable, and challenged in my classroom, and I hope we will start this relationship from day one.
